A BCD Designer's Perspective - AI Software Use - Ed. 1

Welcome

I thought I would start this Article off by saying that at Begin Creative Designs Inc, we only use AI for concept writing and understanding different research starting points for items. We will always continue our research through traditional methods, although the new technology is seen to have its perks.

For Example, with this Article, we will jump right in

A Prepared Home Owner [Client] Concept Design

Would it not be lovely as a trained professional to have your Client's initial ideas so beautifully laid out for disection and Architectural Design?

Below is a reference image of a recent Bid I came across, and just adored the detail level from a Client/HomeOwner perspective with the use of AI and CGIs to help explain their dream home vision

These images help your Designer create a clear, constructable design package with the help of your personalized input, as AI may not always get it just right or prepared in the manner in which works best for you to visualize it

The dimensions do not make a rectangle

So, Fun Fact, when you add all of the dimensions on the right side and then the left [to make sense of], you realize the drawing above is truly AI and is not a rectangle with the given dimensions

Or it may provide you with unrealistic visuals that leave room for error in conversation or are not suited to Canadian Spaces

Sink that far into the Island with wrap-around seating? Not functional

However, I will have to say this is one of my favourite exterior CGIs from AI, and I am excited to see how the bid does

With all of that being said, stay tuned to see if we get to work with these amazing Home Owners

Beware of "Designers" Using AI to try to sell Concept Designs, as this shows a lack of foresight for technical application and reliance on a computer system that does not show years of experience or common practical knowledge of application, if a SketchUp 3D model can be thrown together quickly [youtube] with hand Sketches and Inspiration Images to help personalize your Ideas
